Newsletter September 28, 2012

Dear Parents:                                                                                        28/9/2012

Greetings to all.

This week was very exciting.

We worked on making a calendar on the theme habitats.  They drew and coloured different habitats.  They wrote their understanding of the habitat and pasted it on the calendar.  This showed how much they understood about the different habitats.  The children really enjoyed it and took pride in displaying their calendars.  It throws light on their learning process.

In maths, we continued with division.  Ms. Kumari has done a class assessment and it was found that many students are not well-versed with multiplication.  I again stress on the importance of learning multiplication tables by heart and request parents to train the students more on this.

In English, we completed the lesson Living things breathe.  We will be continuing with adjectives in the coming week.  I have found out the children are keen in copy writing and improvement is seen.

Junior school will be having its football match today during the extended hour.

Warm Wishes,
Newshee
